Apple, Samsung, Fitbit, etc. What are your thoughts on these? How are they perceived in the workplace, especially by more senior folk?

I didn't particular feel that I needed them. I got a newer model Fitbit but return it pretty quickly. It doesn't really track calories burned accurately (why I wanted it) and I didn't see much use for it besides checking my heart rate. Its probably useful if you are runner and want to track how much you ran and other. I take my phone with me everywhere so basically didn't see a purpose for needing an extra device when I have my phone.
