CMBS turning out to be a bit boring - any recommended reading?
我作为CMBS分析师工作,尽管真正的大部分of my work is more like being a real estate credit analyst, as I spend the majority of my day diving into the performance of the individual mortgages, the assets that collateralize them, and the borrowers. I don't want to sound like I'm whining, because I'm happy that I get to live in a MCOL city working under 50 hours a week, but I was really hoping we would be learning more about how people actually make trades/investments based off of the analysis I'm doing.
Does anybody have recommended reading/videos/podcasts that might help me understand a little more? I know that people will put together credit default swaps based on CMBX indices, but it would be great to find some more educational content about it, because my superiors don't seem particularly interested in teaching me things that don't pertain to my day-to-day duties.
