Getting a refresher from the horse's mouth next week, but I don't usually find these tutorials overly helpful.
In the interim, I would love to learn about some handy functions from you lot to help with both recruiting prep (eg fund info, help with developing pitches etc.) and the role itself.
Given my inexperience with the software, it will be better for all of us if you treat me like a golden retriever when responding.

Would follow up on this and ask what's your fav bbg excel functions! Also does anyone here know how to get financials from bbg excel similar to fact set?
pretty easy - get the excel plug in forbb- then use use =bdp(ticket,field) you field fields under FLDS - probably an even better way but this is what do.
For example =bdp("aapl us equity","trail_12m_ebitda"). Of course you can set this up with formulas to to pull from a column of tickers and rows of different fields.
