What would you prefer for the post-COVID working setup?
What would be your preference for the working model once all COVID restrictions are lifted? Interested to see specifically for our industry if people actually want to go back to five days a week in the office or want to stay at home or a mix of both. Level of seniority comes into it so be helpful if you can give that info too if not in your username.
For me, I have found I am healthier and in better shape than ever WFH. I live with one flatmate and don't have a separate home office but it's comfortable enough, plus on those 1am nights I can get straight to bed and get a bit more snooze in the morning. I would prefer a hybrid of 3 days / 2 days split WFH / office.

Agreed, hybrid would be best (3 day office/ 2 day wfh) but the partners in our office are grinders (UMM) so expect to be back fully by end of summer
My preference would be Mon, Wed, Fri at home (can go to office if you'd like) and Tue, Thu in the office for everyone. I have gone into the office a handful of times through lockdown and it had been pointless when nobody I'm working with is there. I find the social benefits are limited as the junior guys don't want to hang out with me anymore!
Admittedly my WFH setup is great with a dedicated home office, plenty of work space, and no distractions.

Hybrid Mon, Tue, Thur in office would be ideal. Partners are pretty old school though, so don't expect that to fly. Honestly seems like they just wanna get away from the wives/kids lol.
Associate here. As others have said, I definitely want some sort of hybrid setup. Would be nice to have a few days a week in-person with colleagues, even if just to maintain camaraderie and culture. But the flexibility of taking a day or two to stay at home, run errands, get an extra hour of sleep, leave for long weekends a day or two early, etc. would be really nice.
It would also be great to be able to work one month a year continuous remote where you work for three weeks, then take your standard one week vacation at the end. One week vacations don't really do it for me, it almost always feels rushed and I rarely come back feeling more relaxed.
