Advice to break into ER coming from liberal arts background

Hi everyone, my is Jake. I am recent grad of BU and I majored in International Relations. I have taken several econ and math courses, so I have a slight quantitative background, but the majority of my education was qualitative. I would like to transitioninto anERjob, but I worry my lack of a formal technical background will stop me from doing so. My question is: what would your advice be to someone in my position that is trying to break into theERfield? Are there any recommended entry level jobs that can could be leveraged into a properERjob or certifications that I can try to get? Thanks!
