Applying for a masters after having some work experience?

Hey all,

I'm graduating from my B.Sc. this year and joining a big investment bank as an analyst. I'm excited for the work, but I'm a bit worried about being able to do a masters later on. I really want to do an economics master atLSEor in the U.S. at some point, maybe after 2 years of work. Will it be harder to be accepted? Would I have to give them references from professors I wouldn't have talked to in years? Will I remember anything from my B.Sc.? lol

Any experience with applying for a masters after having worked for some time would be very helpful.

Thank you

You may need to take a few remedial classes to get back into the swing of things. When I was doing my engineering UG I had a few classes with masters students, some were returning after a while, some were math/physics students who needed some of the fundamentals of engineering (just because you know math/physics doesn't mean you know fluid mechanics, etc.)

Na - it would be easier to get into topBSlikeLBSMiF or LSE's Ms Fin
For Econ, maybe you'll have a chance.

But pretty sure you'll change your career path
I did same thing - got my offers pretty quickly. Felt sad why i did not apply to Ivy leagye school.

Which bank you joining?

Oh - I meant that once you starting inIB, you may be less inclined towards an MS in Econ.

Most probably an MS in Fin orMBAwould be better.
