incoming soph at a nontarget, when should I start cold-emailing EB's for 2022SApositions know their timeline is very accelerated. Sorry if this is super premature as 2021 recruiting is not even close to being done.

See, one is getting your name out early. But, you also don't want to speak so much in advance that by the time actual recruiting comes along they have forgotten who you are. So, aim for 2 months before the start of the process so they can still remember you, so that they know stuff about the process and also because it gives you enough time to be introduced to others.
