Escaping PowerPoint
In private equity, it seems to me the primary work output is thePowerPointpresentation. And even though I'm quite skilled in PPT, it's still a ton of work and very annoying to make a 50 page deck.
So my question is this: is there a finance job out there that doesn't use PPT? Maybe certain types of hedge funds? Although I've heard of a fewHFsthat still build models and decks. Yuck.

In my brief quant finance experience I would use python…
…and then copy paste outputs into PowerPoint. Sorry dude
