St. Gallen has great opportunities in DACH, as you probably know. Lots of decent jobs in Frankfurt and Zürich.

- Was the result of the EU settlement scheme "settled" or pre settled? Can you move back and work without sponsorship?
- If you are native in German, how come you lost some knowledge of it? Hard to get rid of a native language, I think, unless you spend several decades abroad. But even then, you should still be fluent in the language you were raised in.
Second gen immigrant - grew up in an English school / international environment but had a good B2/C1 level of German when I got my citizenship. So lost a lot of it during my Bachelors. I've got military service to do so hopefully a lot will come back to me there.
I've applied and I'll likely get pre-settled status since I've only been there since the beginning of my undergrad. Not sure what that entails but will see.
On a completely seperate note, do you know much about the academic/cultural environment of HSG?
I can't help you with the culture of HSG, sorry. But there are so many others who will be able to say something about the school.
If you leave the UK for several years on pre settle status you may lose your right to live and work in the UK. so if that is your goal, I'd do the Masters in the UK or figure out another way to secure sponsorship.
If your German is good enough or can be improved to fluency, then you can go for jobs in DACH.
最终,它是由你的文化you prefer. Both are very different. For families with an immigration background the UK is typically considered more open, but if you had good experiences in CH or DE or AT, you might as well live and work there.
