Associate Investment Banking, Technology - San Francisco

A mid-market firm with global presence is looking for an Associate, Investment Banking.

Overview:

The Investment Banking Associate will help and support its M&A and capital raising advisory business within our Technology practice. The position is located in either Boston, MA or San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate client proposals and presentations
• Cooperate with clients, potential investors, and senior bankers
• Build financial analysis and models
• Be able to handle deal processes
• Help with the recruiting, supervising, and developing of the Analysts team
• In control of other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance/accounting preferred
• 3 to 5 years of experience in investment banking
• Understanding of M&A and capital raising practices
• Strong finance/accounting knowledge to analyze and value businesses
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Exceptional analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills
• Team player but also with the ability to work independently
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills; Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• FINRA Series 79/7 and 63 licenses are required, or to be obtained within the first six months of employment
