Description
One of the largest independently owned investment banking firms in the United States is looking for a self-motivated, self-starting and an experienced candidate who is committed and eager to learn day to day. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of middle market M&A and capital raising execution and transactions.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily execution of transactions under the guidance of Managing Directors
- Train and supervise of analysts and associates
- Oversee drafting and transaction of marketing documents
- Identify investors and/or financial buyers
- Supervision and implementation of buyer opening and closing interaction
- Analyze development of financial models, valuation analyzes, and research
- Keep strong relationships with client staffs at proper levels
- Prove a commitment to the group's success on new opportunities, commands and overall growth
- Will have or be expected to pass the FINRA series 79 exam (Investment Banking Professional)
Requirements
- Four-year degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar
- Not less than Five-six years of investment banking or active M&A experience
- A high level of commitment, integrity, and proven leadership
- Strong attention to detail and work product quality
- Proved aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Solid knowledge of financial statements and financial modeling
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Capital IQ
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
