Cover letter advice
Hello WSO!
This is the first cover letter I wrote, aimed for the瑞士信贷春季week. I mostly want to get some practice in before applying for the non-rolling banks, so I would be very grateful if you helped me out and told what I should work on in my letter.

I am a First-Year student at the XYZ studying Econ-related. I learned about Credit Suisse when working with ABC society on a risk analysis project for a major investment bank. I hope to experience working in your company, as well as develop my skills through the Spring Insight programme.
Credit Suisse is one of the biggest investment banks in the world, boasting a big, diverse workforce and giving its employees many ways to grow, such as the Management Excellence Program. The firm's core values allowing it to have "IMPACT" are another aspect encouraging me to apply. In particular, inclusion and meritocracy are something I highly appreciate. As a Polish citizen from a middle-class family, finding employment in the UK is not easy. Nevertheless, I want to work for an international company that gives me an opportunity to thrive and places striving for excellence among its most important goals.

I followed this template and it has helped a ton. The best advice I can give is to not brag about things they already know about. Instead, talk about a recent that piqued your interest. Also just read the threads that the bot gives you, that helped me as well. Good luck!
