Deciding between offers for MBB FT
Currently deciding between AT&T Supply Chain Strategy & Consulting (Dallas) and Altman Solon (NY) in order to maximize my chances recruiting forMBB/ T2 forFT。
AT&T is obviously the more recognizable name, but the experience at AS may translate better toMBB。I would also prefer to live inNY, but am open to making the move to TX. From what I know, the culture/ people at both groups seem fine.
Which would you take if the ultimate goal is re-recruiting for FT?

Given what you said about preferringnyto Dallas, I'd recommend you take the Altman Solon offer. The work is very comparable and transferable to other consulting firms. Back when I was screening resumes, I see AT&T, I think meh, there's a jillion AT&T interns; I see Altman Solon, I think man this guy went to a great boutique, let's see if we can nab him
Altman Solon in my opinion is a better option, AT&T is great too, it ultimately comes down to you. Which city would u like to live in more.
Did consulting in the past: take altman-MBBis a prestige game. Remember: sure, people don't know Altman, they know At&t-just as people may not know what the French Laundry is, but they sure as heck know what McDonald's is.
