Looking for some advice
Background: 2nd-year international student in an Ldn semi-target. 2 spring wks + experience in a student-led fund + some extracurriculars. No previous internships. Ok grade (borderline 1:1). Ultimately want to end up in a macro fund. Currently looking for macro-related opportunities like rates/fx/etc with as much exposure to the market as possible.

After a series of unfortunate events and due to some unique covid regulations my home country has, my cycle got interrupted entirely for like 3 months. I did get a verbal offer from a niche shop in Europe. But I was made aware that the offer was no longer valid recently.
Obviously, I'm not in a good situation as the recruiting cycle is almost ending for most places. I have been trying to network my way into an offer for this summer also and the returns are rather marginal. So, I really started wondering if investing my time in recruiting further for this cycle is the optimal way to use my time here. (I also signed up for theCFALVL1这五月，所以我需要学习）
我的question is 2fold. If I were to recruit further for this cycle, what are the places that I should look into that are with relatively better chances for me? Also, I know for sure that I'll be disadvantaged in the graduation cycle in the scenario where I go unemployed this summer. But to what extent am I disadvantaged?
