I'll never understand why people find MM analyst seats desirable.
Large SMs offer better risk-adjusted pay, lifestyle, stability. Senior analysts at SM have the option to become a PM at aMMif they ever want to run a book. That's the only reason someone from Select might make the switch.
I think it's a little bit misleading to suggest that senior analysts at SMs can just snap their fingers and become PMs atMMs。是的,它会发生,但没有它不像你那么容易think and many don't get the offer to make the jump, and many more that do never succeed because the jobs are very different.
