Banks definitely don't shy away from interstate applications, UQ recently has really been outperforming USYD/UMELB/UNSW in some of theSAprograms (花旗, for example).

I'd say those 2 internships are definitely enough to be competitive, as long as you can sell them well in an interview.

FMAA/UNIT exec positions are always nice ECs to have on your resume, aside from that just don't be a robot and be a good bloke.

Echoing the comment above, you will be fine. Have seen guys get in with low 80's / high 70's. UQ also placing very well inIBthese days.
