I just recently learned how early on recruiting happens for junior yearSAroles and I have had so much stress this summer because of this. I am going to work my ass off this year but the max GPA I can have by end of sophomore year is around a 3.5-3.6. My advice: (obviously) work your ass off in class and network as much as you can. You'll likely be asked about your GPA (I was)- be honest and explain what went wrong, and more importantly, how you're fixing it. Just control what you can control. The way I see it, there's always a Wharton kid who has a better GPA, knows technicals down cold, and has access to resources that no one else does. You can differentiate yourself by speaking with as many people as you can and by being someone that they're willing to support through the process. It will be a grind, but that just makes your success that much more satisfying.

If you aren't already, take more classes. If 15 credits is normal take 20. And get a 4.0 this fall semester. That is a must no exceptions.
