FWIW it's not that bad of a story and I don't think it was THAT inappropriate to share, but saying you got fired from an internship is an auto ding so be very vague with "summer 2022" on resume, and vague reason for no return offer
your next bank will almost certainly never find out about this unless you tell them, or they happen to know someone in the group. for background check they do a 30 second call to confirm if you worked at the bank from X date to Y date (through HR or a third party verification company) and will not hear about an intern being let go. so do not tell them.

Is it okay for people to just put a season on the resume like Summer 2022? Will that raise eyebrows? Otherwise, I would have to put June 2022 to July 2022 and that does not look very good.
