对于背景而言，我要在本科生提前一年，进入大三的第二年。我在当地的非目标上度过了第一年由于情况）。顶部BBCIB offer for Summer 2023 this past April, and then a couple months ago I got accepted as a transfer at an in state semi target school.At first, I was super excited to have been accepted to the semi target. I hate my current school, no social life and the fact that it's a non target, so it will be looked down upon for my entire career. But that excitement about transferring has quickly evaporated for some reason, and now I'm on the fence if it's even worth really leaving.I don't plan ongetting myMBA(but things could always change), will it hurt me to stay at my nontarget instead of transferring? Cost isn't an issue, it's just much more convenient for me to stay. And at this point, I don't need the resources of a target or semi target considering I have an offer I am very happy with.How bad will it hurt me to stay where I am? It's just tough because I don't really like my current school, it's boring and looked down upon. And while the transfer school is great, well known, and definitely more fun (not a huge factor), I feel so skeptical now. I feel like I'm not gaining or losing much in either case.I've had a lot of difficulty with trying to navigate around this, so any advice is extremely appreciated. Thank you in advance

One other thing I didn't mention is that the transfer school is in a shithole overrated city. Feel like I could probably deal with that though, not sure

Yes, social life would 100x better and more enjoyable overall, but I'm not sure I would really like living over there, the city is overhyped. I feel like it's either stay here and be semi unhappy (not totally miserable) or transfer and mayne enjoy it but hate the place.

You can't make this decision today, but give serious thought to how opposed (or not) you are to business school. Law/MBAprograms are great equalizers - that credential goes at the top of the "Education" section of your resume/LinkedIn profile, and sets you apart (way apart) from candidates with only a bachelor's degree from your or a similar school.
If you are completely hostile to the idea ofgetting anMBA, think harder about transferring. But I'd say a goodMBA程序值得。许多20多岁的人认为在学校里花了2年的时间 /不赚钱是一个永恒的fortune in opportunity cost，但是在30多年以上的职业生涯中，事实并非如此。

It's really hard to make friends at a new school transferring so late, you might end up having an even more awful time on the social scene... do you only want to transfer because your school isn't prestigious? Seems like a bad reason. Don't transfer just because of that.

No problems. Once you do ~2+ years of full time work your school becomes a total nonissue. Most people move school to the very bottom of their resume, maybe 2-3 lines, once they have a few years of work experience, because the work is far more important than whatever school you went to.
Go find some good private debt shops, go on LinkedIn, and see where their associates and VPs went to school. Guarantee you'll find a decent number of totally random non targets. School prestige is just not a big deal beyond landing that very first job.
