Deferred MBA questions
Applying to theM7DeferredMBAprograms thiscycle and wanted to see if it is even worth it with my current stats and experiences. Currently at a no name school with a high gpa (>3.9), double major, and going to become a trader at a semi-largeAMstarting next year (non-NYC or Chicago). Expecting mostly to be writing trading tickets and I don't see that much upward mobility within the firm nor do I want to stay in the current city long term. I would like to move tonycand preferably workat a fixed income/macro/arbitrageHF. I want to have assurance with theMBAthat I have a long term plan that I actually would enjoy and find meaningful to furthering my career.
Was wondering how adcoms look at incoming traders vs mconsultants and ibankers?
