L.E.K vs.EY-P（SSG）

Additionally, will the WLB be any different at either of these two firms?

I'm considering moving into eitherPEor a strategy role within a tech company after a few years, and I'm wondering what the best choice is to keep my options open for both routes. I know that L.E.K can place well intoMMPE- is the same true for EYP? I've heard that EYP's reputation has been declining due to internal restructuring, but I'm not sure if SSG is regarded separately from the rest of the organization. Moreover, I'm wondering if SSG will pigeonhole me into tech roles and limit my chances ofPEexposure.
Conversely, are the exits into tech far greater at SSG, or will L.E.K still position me well in that regard?
I hate to bring in the word "prestige," but I know reputation plays a roleMBAplacement and overall exits. Is one of these groups regarded more highly than the other or better for topMBAchances?

Starting TC is around the same for both, but I'm not sure if this changes over time.

SSG is a relatively new/small group, so if anyone has any insights into these areas or anything related to SSG/ L.E.K at all, that would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure where the EYP reputation is declining comes from. It is actually the reverse. The reorg doesn't affect the type of work you want to go into consulting for

If you're planning to get anMBA, why don't you go work as a software engineer? FAANG would probably set you up better than EYP/LEK as far as bschool admissions are concerned.

She also said EYP is really breaking away from the traditional "Big 4" strategy arms in terms of the nature of the projects and the volume of business coming in.

Both have similarly strongPEexits andMBAplacement. EYP SSG falls under EYP Strategy, so your work will largely be CDD's in the tech industry as well as tech and product diligences. The group has built a really strong reputation in the market, and you'll have opportunities for both Tech andPE因为您将获得大量的经验。勒K will also provide plenty of CDD experience, and if you choose to stay in consulting for more than 4-5 years, LEK will start to pay bigger bucks later in your career. Both are going to have tough WLB due to the heavy focus on diligences, but at EYP you'll have more access to non-CDD work.
