Trip to New York
Hey everyone -
I'm planning a trip out to New York at the end of the year. Is this a good option? Or should I wait?
Company has us off at the end of the year, so I figured a few days trip would be fun to do.
Meeting a friend from another state who is driving over. Other then that, I want to spend some vacation time.
Let me know your thoughts!

I just saw a subway passenger accost a train conductor on the 4 train. New York is back baby!
Would recommend you hit up Isaiah. Especially if you are a hot girl
Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.

haha yeah thanks for the reco - I moved out ofNYC, but headed back at some point.

Good time relative to what? It's the northeast in December, so it's cold and the days are short, but the city will be decked out with holiday decorations if that's your thing.
If you're asking about COVID, everything is open and has been for months. Bring a mask just in case, but I go weeks without touching one. Be prepared to show vaccine card along with ID for most bars and restaurants unless you want to dine outside… I'm typing this from a NoLita cafe, it's almost 60 degrees out and both inside and outside are packed right now, but I wouldn't bet on nice weather in December
Appreciate it. I work for biopharma, as I am already vaccinated. I will bring my card (I also have a digital version too).
We plan to do tourist stuff and probably make a trip out to Philly to visit historical sites before headed back toNY.
Any thoughts on hotels?
No need for the physical card - I just keep a picture on my phone.
I really liked the Moxy in the East Village and the Dominick in SoHo - great food and bars in both neighborhoods, but honestly if you want to do touristy stuff I'd probably say to stay in either Times Square or Midtown (not the best neighborhoods to live in, but great for tourists).
我真的很喜欢1酒店中央公园和人darin Oriental in Columbus Circle, and the New York Hilton Midtown is a centrally-located more affordable option that's close to Rockefeller Center and 5th Ave, which is the heart ofNYCChristmas decorations. Also partial to the Conrad by the World Trade Center, but there's not a ton to do there (just a beautiful hotel).
