Associate - Real Estate Investment Banking (South Central US)

About the Role

The firm is seeking an Associate to join their Office Investment Sales team and augment their Structured Products/Single Tenant team in the south-central US.

Essential Functions

• Client and investor communication
• Supervision of Analysts
• Supervision of underwriting process
• Creation and execution of marketing collateral
• Working closely with senior members of the team on presentations and analyses
• Assisting team in underwriting
• Performing comprehensive analyses
• Due diligence

Further, the role will participate in major credit-focused transactions throughout the US as part of the Structured Products/Single Tenant team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in real estate, investment banking, or a similar advisory role
• Bachelor's degree

Skills and Competencies Required

• An understanding of the real estate equity and/or debt capital markets
• Basic working knowledge of GAAP accounting
• General knowledge of Argus Enterprise
• The ability to take on significant responsibility
• Create high-quality marketing collateral with strong writing, market research, and PowerPoint skills
• Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of deals using financial modeling techniques and strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently produce high-quality work under tight time frames.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to conclude within agreed-upon deadlines.
