It makes people think, "Hey that guy has an apple watch".
Any other dumb questions?
They're ubiquitous. Looks a little funny with a suit but not bad with business casual. I'm in SF and they're everywhere. I prefer analog watches but I do miss the analytics of my old fitbit.
They don't look good. They're not sleek or stylish - just a square computer screen on your wrist. If you want a smart watch - go with something like a fenix 7 and mix and match different bands with it.
Yep, my thoughts exactly. Just a square little computer screen lol.
Like 90% of the office wears apple watches now. I like them because very few people give a shit about an expensive watch and it just gives 1 straightforward, affordable option to everyone.
Everyone will hate you.
If you're going for middle America engineer vibes, then you nailed it.
Don't forget to pair w/ cargo shorts
Just makes you look naive and not very experienced in comparison to other employees
If anything, I feel like I see them just as if not more frequently on more senior employees.
So I doubt it.
I think the Smart Watch is a dangerous game. The user may not realize that looking at the notifications from the watch is similar to just pulling your phone out and can be received that way. It poses a risk of appearing distracted, which can come at the worst moments.
I totally understand the use for them though, and they are great gadgets. I think if you can build the habit to truly ignore the notifications or mute the watch when in front of clients or your boss, then go for it.
On a fashion note, I don't think a smart watch looks bad. But nothing beats the look of a real watch.
Honestly I have to disagree
As a guy that's frequently in meetings and boards, I like the fact that I can filter what's happening or calling without taking out the phone, it's more polite and subtle.
Buy an Apple Watch if you want to increase your chances for cancer imo. All of that EMF radiation sitting constantly on your wrist cannot be good. Already bad enough we're on our phones 24/7, I would avoid Apple and stick with the mechanical timepiece.
There's no proof that smart watches cause cancer lmao.
At some point in time, there was no proof that smoking caused lung cancer.
Any other dumb replies?
good for tracking fitness/whatever
for style, buy a real watch please
Apple Watch with a suit makes you look like Spy Kids
