你有老分析师在你们公司吗?(g在哪里enerally) is the company located (high/low COL)? At 3yrs exp I jumped companies to a mid/low COL city as a Sr. Analyst for 88k base +8% ish bonus. This seemed to be slightly above market for the region- a 90 handle all-in as a SFA is pretty good. 80 seems to be more average. So the bottom line from my perspective is that this is great pay as just an analyst, you have the years to be a SFA, and this is pretty average pay as an SFA (all from the perspective of mid/low COL).

I agree. My 3rd year offer was all-in $115k guaranteed. More than double what I was making my first year out of college.

Market for senior analyst is anywhere from 90k-120k but typically want 5+ YOE. I was lucky and had solid experience so was able to grab that 3rd year job.

Most analyst positions here are 55k for shitty companies to 75k for the better ones.

Being fully remote is awesome if you have a good team and can handle that responsibility. I would say your offer is more than fair, and although it's not anything crazy, it's a solid chunk of money for a 50 hour/week job

Congrats on that 3rd year job! If you can could you shed some light on the good experience that got you there quicker?

Small teams that fired others and had people quit and they realized I could do everyone's job, so why hire anyone else

2nd job I went from working until 2am at times to showing up around 10 and leaving around 5 most days. Nobody said anything because I built our entire reporting structure and owned every P&L company-wide. Nobody says shit when they know you're doing your job.

Thanks! There are no senior fp&a analysts in the company and its in a mid COL area in the northeast.

That makes it harder to say- with no Sr. Analysts I would think you have a pretty wide pay band.. And the NE would command a higher number than the midwest. What is the industry and size of the company? For some more perspective, if you worked at a defense company in the NE (a prior employer of mine was a big defense company with a presence in the NE) at 3 years 88k would be awesome. You'd likely be a FA 2. As a SFA in the north east though this is pretty low pay, and at 3 years SFA roles are not out of reach for you.

That's what I thought as soon as I saw the number but ever since I've started to research, compsin the area seem all over the place with some as low as 70k and others making >150k or something crazy like that. My company is private, in the materials industryw about 8kemployees. So not that big really. The fp&a team is really lean rn with just a vp and a manager. I'm hopeful it will be great for me since we're so lean and there's a lot to do but can't help the feeling of wanting a little more in terms of title & comp.
