Is it cringe to wear company merch
Hi,
我是第1级的第一年分析师BBbut smaller office, I have a pretty nice quarter zip with the company logo on it, but no one in the office seems to wear the company merch. Is it too weird to wear it?

If you are not comfortable wearing it, then don't wear company gear. I absolutely hate wearing any branded - company logos or clothing brands. My first impressions should not be associated with whatever is on my shirt. I don't really care what logos/brands people wear but if I see you on the weekend rocking XYZ bank gear on anything other than a bag, then I'll assume you are a boring hardo.
I think one exception to this rule is if you are working for an early stage startup and a large % of your potential net worth is tied up with its success. In that case, it's still annoying but I'd give you a pass as you are you are advertising it and are probably passionate about the company. A large percentage of the startup crowd is insufferable but branding, advertising, and passion are inherently are requirements for success, so it's more acceptable.

No one will care. I wouldn't wear it on a date or anything like that, but totally fine going to work, at work, or coming home from work.
How is any different than wearing college gear on campus? I agree w the above - don't act like it's a flex and wear it everywhere - but I'd rock any free gear as long as it's nice.

If my company makes good merch I wear it. Im a simple man. A lot of my gear is North Face which I personally find high quality and comfortable.
