IB/PE Abroad?

I am about to start my time as an investment bankinganalyst atGS/MS/JPMinNYC. I know it's early but my goal is to exit to an UMM/PEhedge fund and potentiallya top US B school after two years inPE. However, I also want to live abroad for a year if possible after myIBstint. So what plan makes more sense? Should I do a year as an associate at an international office of myBBand recruitfor USPEas if I'm a first year during my second year and start that role after my year abroad. Or should I try to recruit to aMF/UMMPEfirm that has an office abroad/is based abroad where I am looking? For reference I am thinking Tel Aviv or London would be my top picks of where to look.
