Has anyone here taken the Bloomberg Market Concepts. I thought it would be an interesting class + nice resume boost. This is especially based on the fact that I am a non-finance major.
Even if you have not taken it, do you guys think it is a nice resume boost? About an 8 hour class, 130$ by bloomberg.

Took it as I was an intern at the firm and it was free. Useful for grasping general finance concepts but imo you can learn it all via YouTube for free. Can't hurt to have it on your resume; however, I personally don't.
I did it a few years ago as it was mandatory for a class - all I remember is it taught you how to use a Bloomberg terminal and that was about it.
I wouldn't pay to take it as it's pretty much useless imo unless you have regular access to a terminal to play around with. I used to just post pics of the terminal screens with random graphs in that sick black background to my social media stories because it always got the thots thirsty.
Also, if you were able to land a job or internship that requires use of a terminal, they'll teach you how to use it
I was looking at it too, I see a lot of people with the certification and I wonder if it holds any weight as well.
Only do it if you can get it for free
