This is more so a realization that you're lacking meaning and freedom in your life. Don't worry about the negative comments, introspection is necessary if you want life to be more than 17+ years of schooling, 40+ years of work, retirement, then death. To find meaning you'll have to find the things you care the most about in life. It can also be true that you just haven't seen enough of the world yet to know what makes you tick, which is understandable giving your age. You can go online and look for hobbies or social issues that interest you and try your hands at all of them. Religious or not you can also try practicing spirituality with simple things like meditation. Don't take it too hard, understand that you must go through more life experiences to know what you truly stand for.
As for freedom, you're not going to find it with a job no matter the salary because at the end of the day if you don't go to work you won't get paid and you can always be fired. A job is a short-term solution to a long-term problem (living expenses). The only two options for financial freedom are business and investing. When it comes to business a sole proprietorship isn't necessarily the best option because you're practically still an employee, and sometimes the only employee. With regards to investing its best to get sophisticated training so you have expert knowledge and can professionally invest in whatever you chose (real estate, crypto, stocks, etc...). Passive investing will not give you financial freedom as you have little to no control over your investments.
I'm also burnt out but understand if you want to get the most out of life there is way more work ahead. Furthermore, business, and professional investing are more challenging and time consuming thanIBand they're absolutely no guarantees of success. But like always there are great resources out there, use YouTube as an aid to answer your questions. I recommend reading Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki,Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl, listening to Dan Peña, and Gary Vaynerchuk. I don't think a career in banking, or any job is worth it long term. Time is worth more than money as it's a nonrenewable asset. Once time is gone its gone, money and a prestigious job can always be replaced but your youth can't be. I only recommend making it a career it if you want to work in business and finance but don't want to take the risk of following your purpose fulltime. As for me I will do 2 years of banking, anMBA, maybe 2 years at a hedge fund, then focus solely on my business. Good luck.
Don't be burnt out from interviewing.... that's like saying your full after eating your salad of an appetizer.
Banking will set you up for lots of great things afterwards. Those "great things" are optionality. It's like getting a higher degree except being paid to do so.
