Fuck prestige
I can wipe my ass with prestige. That's how much it means to me. The desire for prestige stems from insecurity. Whether you like it or not lmfao. (I'm talking about those people that find self worth from the name of the bank they're in. You know who you are.) The second you get rid of the desire for prestige you will make much better choices. Younglings, don't fall for the prestige trap. It wears out quick. Instead, what you should focus on is the value of time. OWN YOUR FUCKING TIME. Doesn't matter how you get there. Just get to the point where you can do whatever the fuck it is you want to do without thinking twice about it.

Its not about that but rather people splitting hairs over rank 2 vs rank 3 or tier A vs tier B. People assume "advancing ones career" means going up in prestige but what if the no-name boutique can offer you 50k+ base and bonus? What if the MD of that bank is directly connected to aMFPE? What if that no-name is actually prestigious in one group and you're in that group? There are so many nuances you have to look at rather than just unofficial opinions on "rank".
