I am a final yearMBAstudent in the later stage for both these processes. I previously worked at aPEshop with a distressed angle inNYC(think Apollo/Centerbridge/Oaktree) and am looking to make the move across the pond. Given i have very few contacts in London, I would appreciate any info on the culture/comp/hours for either of these shops.

What job at Elliott? Have worked with both their Activist guys andPEstrategy, if it's forPEstrategy then expect perhaps lower dealflow but a seriously broad mandate, he looked relatively seriously at pretty much every sizeable distressed opportunity we showed him but would drop early on the ones that obviously weren't right for him. Very smart guy though.
