Should I drop out for a potential job?
I would like some advice about a potential opportunity. I am currently enrolled in a topMSFprogram on the east coast and am trying to get into consulting. I have an interview next week with anMBBconsultingfirm but was rejected from the other 2. Through a friend, I have an opportunity to intern at a smallhedge fund in LosAngeles which has the potential to turn into a full time permanent position. However, I would need to drop out of school, and would have limited options if the hedge fund doesn't work out. What should I do?

I think this needs to be an open discussion with the hiring manager. Open up a dialogue on terms of the internship and possibleFTconversion. Also, discuss the possibility of interning and school if they are interested in you having aMSF.

Sounds like they need some cheap bodies to throw at a short term problem. You're likely to get fucked at the end, I'd stay in school.
