Advice for making the most of family office job

I am 20 years old, with 1 year of business school before leaving to run personal businesses and work in research/technology journalism. No degree, and previous work experience was in research. I have since sold or delegated day to day management of my personal businesses.
I managed to parlay that technology and research experience into ananalyst job at a family officewith good starting pay, hours and interesting work located in a major financial centre. The work is primarily attending meetings with people pitching for investment, analyzing the opportunities and corresponding with the companies throughout our investment process. The office founder is a businessman with ~$500mm in assets who recently left full time employment to focus on personal investments. Because it is a newly founded office, the team is myself, an accountant and the founder, which is a perfect setup for learning about how he operates but leaves me stuck when it comes to career advancement.
I recently received a raise and the work is interesting, but I am looking to get someadvice on how this experience could translate into otherfinance jobsshould I want to broaden my experience and work elsewhere down the line. Specifically, I'm interested in any advice on steps I should take while working here to improve my prospects elsewhere in the industry, as well as any tips for where this kind of work might lead down the line.
Thank you
