I know that these twoFSGgroups do modelling. Would their hours be similar to other groups or would they have much better hours, like otherFSGgroups? What is the experience like?

It depends - there is very strong deal flow within that group (especially when markets are hot/less volatile) so would expect perhaps 70-80 hours per week for juniors. Exits includePEat Apollo, Francisco Partners,Blackstone, Permira, Veritas, HIG etc most recently.
Both are great options, I believeFSGis the best group atCSboth 'prestige' / culture wise

I don't know anything about the hours, but a friend of mine atCSFSGsigned with a top EU buyout (Permira / Apax / CVC). Take that as you will.
How much of a reputation of a group is based on historical legacy ? For example if all the MDs atCSFSGorGSTMTleft would those groups still have prestige?
How would any group fare if all the rainmakers left? Ultimately it's those relationships and not the name on the door that matters.
