Bocconi vs. Warwick

Hi everybody, I am currently a high school senior from Turkey. I have applied to many universities in the US however I only got accepted to crappy ones not worth traveling The Atlantic. However, I got accepted to both Warwick (Economics and Industrial Organization Bsc) and Bocconi (Economics Management and Computer Science Bsc). I am currently in a bit of a dilemma as to where to go as both Universities are pretty prestigious. I like Warwick for being located in the UK and being a campus university, meanwhile I believe Bocconi's program is moreCSconcentrated possibly making it better for my future employment, downside of it being in Italy compared to the UK. It would be really nice to hear ideas from people with experience in the field. Thank you in advance.

Both targets. Think about where you see yourself for 3 years. Milan vs middle of England. I'd pick Bocconi because I prefer living in cities but it comes at a cost.

Neither are real targets. Aim for Oxford,Cambridge,LBSorLSEif you really want to place at aBB/EB

I would pick Bocconi. Warwick is indeed in the UK and will allow you to get a lot of exposure to London and if you land a few spring weeks and convert one or two intoSA角色,你将处于一个好位置。你可以得到一个job in finance in Milan without speaking Italian. The reason being is that you come from by far the best uni in Italy when it comes to business and economics. Whilst, 4/5 jobs will require speaking Italian, with some networking and some previous experience you can land one. I am only saying it, because I've spoken with several Bocconi MSc students who don't speak a word of Italian and they confirmed it. And if you don't speaking Italian, for 3/4 years you can definitely pick it up which can be a further asset down the line (especially if English is your second language). Also, I've seen people with BSc in Bocconi going to do a MSc in places like Oxbridge/MIT, so the undergrad is definitely very well regarded both in Europe and overseas. I am not sure what are the fees for the Bocconi undergrad, but presumably it will be less than the £9k per year for Warwick. Also, if you are going to spend 3/4 years, I think Milan would be a much better choice in terms of experiences and life in general. Cost of living would be probably the same if not less than Warwick. Best of luck! P.S: I think Bocconi and Warwick are partnership unis, and you can actually spend a semester/year in the other.

quite inaccurate saying you can land a finance job in Italy without speaking Italian. Most of the annual reports you gonna read will be in Italian. don't know why you guys have to bullshit around like this

As mentioned in the comment '4/5' jobs will require Italian. Again, landing a job without speaking Italian is exception, not the norm. I know people who got jobs inbothBB's and Big 4's without knowing Italian. The same applies to France and Germany, plenty of people find jobs without speaking the local language and just go with English. Sure, you would be limited in a lot of the things you can do, but if the business needs someone for 3-6 months they would often hire someone who can help with the workload.
