ESSEC MiM vs Fuqua MMS
I've been accepted to ESSECs MiM and Duke Fuqua's MMS program.
I am aiming to get into Strategy Consulting but don't have in mind a specific country or area I'm interested to work in. I would love to be in a global city like London,纽约, Singapore or Shanghai.
ESSEC MiM is a two year course with an option to study in Singapore and France Campus while Duke has a one year course in Durham.
I'm really confused as to which one would be better for me in the long run since both are very well reputed schools in their respective countries.
Please give some advice.

ESSEC MiM is a 4 years degree that you can finish at whatever time suits your needs. If you don't speak French or are not aiming to get fluent in it by the time you graduate do not go to ESSEC because without the native language no consulting firm will hire you. You can always try for Dubai but its a hit and miss.

The thing with Imperial is that they're taking too long to release their decision. ESSEC has given us a window of 15 days to pay the deposit fee (5000 Euro) which is a lot of money. So If I choose Imperial after paying ESSECs fee, the money will be wasted. I don't know if I can do that. I was just hoping ESSEC has connections in LDN/SG/SH so that I can work there after graduating.
ESSEC does have connections. However, it is easier to get a job in continental Europe as compared to London. You need to network hard and being on ground means you can go on coffee chats and stuff. That will be your limiting factor. Have you looked into the option of pursuing a 2 year apprenticeship at ESSEC? Granted this would mean you would finish your degree later than 2 years but it would give you enough time to learn French/network. Additionally your tuition fees would be completely paid by the company you will be working for part time and get a monthly salary from them. That is the advantage of ESSEC over any other school.
Hey, Imperial is one step below these degrees. ESSEC is mainly known in France. Out of the degrees, you mentioned I would go to Duke, it has a strong reputation in the US. Plus, salaries there are higher than Europe and Asia.
