Does anyone have any experience in the Hemp industry? I'm starting to research the sector to see ifthere are arbitrageopportunities to generate meaningful profit. Am I too early or is the timing correct?

You won't be the first one to invest in this niche industry for sure... having said that, what kind of arbitrage opportunities are you looking for?
On a side note: at my firm we stay away from hemp for reputation risk..

I own land in the south and have been looking into industrial hemp cultivation/ processing.

Significant capex is necessary to build out the infrastructure, but trying to figure out where the gaps in the chain are is vital right now, as well as 'selling' it to mfg's whom will have to alter their processes, so a lot of customer education.
On the bright side, I have been attending presentations, conventions etc and everyone is incredibly collaborative and interested in learning/helping one another. That level of collaboration is pivotal.
