My role would basically be to provide company level research and due diligence for the traders regarding valuation and my views on any upcoming events that could affect the stock. They also provide a lot of training around options and derivative strategies since they trade those a lot too. Does anyone have any insight into the quality of this role?

Buddy worked there a few years back (I am actually 5 years out). Absolutely solid experience. Its buyside so paid quite well and even better now I would imagine. However, he got worked hard easily hitting 70-90 hours regularly and more I would imagine in earnings season. I'd imagine there is a high degree of self selection, but I am trying to get a sense of the type of funds or roles that I would likely be competitive for out of this role. Thank you again.
