Practically different companies, chinese wall runs across every facet of the firm including HR.我B不知道有人在AMside and vice versa, and even if the person you know on theAMside did know the name of someone to call on the我Bside, they would need a compliance chaperone to be on any emails/calls which is more effort than it would be worth.
我don't think it's that helpful personally. My understanding that is if you want to do我B, a lower prestige我Brole is better than a higher prestige role in a different field. I don't think you could go to Lazard我B来自拉扎德AM
