As it gets colder, and more likely to snow, which coats do you guys wear? Currently I wear some jacket that's waterproof for the most part, and very warm, but it's not fashionable at all.

Got a quilted Barbour last year, navy - never looked back, they are very decent!
any recommendations for a jacket with a hood? less than $700... my ears kill me, def need the hood no matter what the look.

Very cold, yes.

Waterproof, I would assume yes. I've worn it in the snow and it's great, I've never stood in the rain with it though. If sheep have survived for thousands of years in the rain, I think the jacket will probably be fine.

That's the first thing I've noticed as well. I would say it looks like a windbreaker rather than a thick jacket or coat for colder weather.
